How dumb are Americans? Pretty damn stupid! Roughly one-fourth of people in USA don’t know what country they declared their independence from, according to a recent poll.

According to the latest poll, 26% of the people in the USA don’t know what country the USA declared it’s independence from. The results include 20% who just didn’t know, and another 6% who thought the USA separated from another country other than Great Britain.

So what country do these people think the USA. achieved its independence from? Among the countries mentioned in the pool whee France, China, Japan, Mexico, and Spain.

However, there are some questions still unanswered. Did the pool distinguish between the ignorant and the apathetic? Often those two go hand in hand, the apathetic are also ignorant and vice-versa. There are plenty of both in the USA, but mostly they are ignorant. The truly apathetic don’t even care enough to take a poll.

Remember, those 26% who dont even know what country the USA declared it’s independence from try to vote. Luckily, only 10% know where to go.

Today, most kids today don’t even know what December 7, 1941 was. They think December 7th means it’s two weeks till Christmas. It’s ashame but im not surprised at how little kids know today about the USA today!

So awhile ago, a long while ago, I signed up on just about all the Social Networks known to man. I signed up not because I was going to use them. But because I didn’t want anyone else laying claim to my name or reserving a custom URL with my name in it. One of those Social Networks I signed up on was Tagged.

Tagged is a Social Network similar to MySpace and Facebook. Weekly I get updates from these people. saying I need to login and reconnect with people that are “interested” in me. I’ve never deleted my profile or anything because I get a kick out of it. One things for sure, if your looking to meet, or hook up with someone of the opposite sex, Tagged may not be for you. Maybe I’m biased. Well, of course I am.

Anyways, without further ado, here’s a sample of all the hotties that “Clicked YES”.

Besides all the BBW (Big Beautiful Women) that I’ve attracted, I’ve also manage to attract some guy (BBM?), the Backstreet Boys, and an underage girl from the Philippines (yeah, I bet she’s for real). Oh, and this was just today. I think I’ll come back here and update this further when I get some more emails. This Tagged site is amazing!

I guess it’s fair to say, that Tagged has come under attack for questionable practices such as spamming, and there have been numerous customer complaints regarding Tagged sending deceptive bulk mail.

They way I see it, I have a few options here.

1. Get upset and throw a hissy fit.
2. Just delete my account.
3. Or have fun and be amused.

I choose option three. At least for now. What do you think I should do?

Santo Domingo is the capital city of the Dominican Republic. Approximately three million people call this place their home and that number continues to grows every year. As with every city, there is the good, and there is the bad. I try my best to capture a little bit of everything. One of the greatest assets this country has are it’s people. Here is just a small sample, of the lives, daily routine, and fun from the people of Santo Domingo.

The Colonial Zone (or Zona Colonial in Spanish) is located in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Located just meters away from the Rio Ozama, its origin dates back from 1498. The Colonial Zone is one of those places that you can’t miss. Its streets seem to remain in oblivion, narrow, old, but well preserved. Walking anywhere in the area you will find colonial buildings and houses from the colonial era. Here you can find stores in which to buy Dominican made art, listen to music outdoors, or spend a romantic moment impossible to forget.
